Rump Steak Off Cuts - fresh, vacuum packed in bulk bags.

Prime rump steak off cuts, with some sirloin and ribeye in the mix too. Ideal for diced beef, stir fry beef, casseroles, curries and mince. You'll also find the occasional whole steak in the bag, ones that came in slightly under or over the weight we need for production, so perfect quality, just off-spec on size.

Delivery & packaging information

How will my order be packaged?:

We use an insulated chilled packaging system to keep your meat cold and fresh whilst out for delivery. The packaging ensures the correct temperature will be maintained for up to 48 hours although the delivery process takes a maximum of only 24 hours. All items are vacuum sealed and fully labelled with use by dates and a full ingredients list.

Super Chilled DPD tracked delivery:

Order by 12 midday to receive your delivery the next day* in our Super Chilled boxes! With our premium delivery service provided by DPD you will receive:

Full order tracking and notifications for your delivery,
including a 30 minute time slot sent via text or email on the day of delivery.

Not going to be in? With the free DPD app, you have the option to have your parcel left with a neighbour or in a specified safe place at your address, saving you the time of waiting in for a delivery.

*Next day available for orders placed before 12 midday Tuesday-Friday, for orders placed Saturday-Monday (inclusive), delivery will be the following Wednesday. In the rare event that we are unable to source fresh stock at short notice, there may be one day delay on delivery for your order, which we will notify you by phone or by email.

Before receiving the order I was expecting lots of little pieces but only about 10% were chunk sized, most were between 6 & 10 oz pieces. I have only tried 2 pieces which I cooked as a steak thinking if it was on the tough side I would make into a stew but it was one of the most tender and flavourful steaks I had eaten. Fingers crossed for the rest.

I must be honest, this was very disappointing! You stated at the time that it was going to contain some ribeye and sirloin and not one bit.It was all hacked rumps and fat.The odd salvaged steaks I did find were probably the toughest rump I’ve ever had! Needless to say it all had to be diced for stews or curry so £110 worth of stewing meat.Everything that I’ve purchased previously has been brilliant and of good quality from Fresh meat packs like the 6kg full sirloins and short bone tomahawks etc.

Such good value, my packs of rump steak off cuts were not off cuts but decent size steaks. I was expecting small pieces of steak so was going to make stewed steak and pies with it but I managed to get 18 bags of four steaks for the freezer and it worked out just over £6 a bag!! I don't think you can get four rump steaks for £6 anywhere else so will be buying more in the future.
