Yes. All pork packs are prepared fresh and delivered chilled. We focus on quality cuts from trusted suppliers, ensuring each product arrives in good condition and ready to cook or freeze. Many customers choose to use their pork straight away, while others portion and freeze for later use.
Most pork products we sell are suitable for home freezing. If you don’t plan to cook your pork straight away, it can be frozen on the day of delivery to help maintain quality. Always follow standard food safety guidance when freezing and defrosting and check individual product details if you’re unsure.
Once delivered, pork packs should be kept refrigerated at or below 5°C. If freezing, store at -18°C or below. For best results, keep products in their original packaging until you’re ready to use them, and consume within the recommended use-by date shown on the label.
All pork packs are vacuum sealed and packed using temperature-controlled materials. This helps maintain freshness during transit and protects the quality of the meat. Orders are designed to stay chilled for up to 48 hours, with most deliveries arriving within 24 hours.
Shelf life varies depending on the cut and whether it’s fresh or cured. Fresh pork cuts generally have a shorter refrigerated shelf life than cured products such as bacon or gammon. Exact use-by dates are clearly labelled on each pack so you can plan meals with confidence.
